Right turn signals don't blink

I noticed today that my right turn signal does not blink. It just lights up and stays lit instead of flashing. The left side works fine. also when I turn the lights on, on the dash the right turn signal lights up. But no blinking.. I don't even know what to begin to look at. Just need a step in the right direction, maybe a picture or 2

Are you sure the bulbs are all working? If no, replace the bulb and that should fix it.

It could be the flasher (relay that makes the lights blink). The best best to know where to look is to go to the auto parts store and ask to see a "flasher" for your car. Buy it (it'll be a couple of bucks tops), lay on the driver's side floor and look for something that looks like the flasher you were given. I forget, there may be two in 3rd gens. Replace by guessing and see if the blinker works. If not, put back the original one and replace the other.

Check the bulbs first. Usually, when the dash turn signal indicator will just stay on with no flashing, one of the bulbs is blown.

I agree with the other guys, check the bulbs, the blinker works on resistance and will not flash if there is not enough load to operate it (I.E. one or more bulbls burnt out), there is only on flasher module in our cars, if you need to find it, take down the panel under the dash on the drivers side, the module is just above the computer connection next to the console (its kind of on top of the connection)

Yup, had 2 bulbs blown. Replaced both of 'em and it blinks like new. But the rear passanger side one isn't lighting so I have to track down that problem..

check the filament (the wire that stretches between the positive and negative in the bulb) ESP if you bought the replacements from Wal*Mart or K-Mart. THe people who stock at night don't care if they drop a package and when you drop bulbs, it usually ruins one of them or both. I had the same problem... bought a pack of bulbs to replace the high mount brakelightfrom Wal Mart when I fist got my car. neither of them lasted a week, so I thought I had a short and spent countless hours trying to find it with no success. Bought some bulbs from NAPA and here it is a year later and it still works fine.
