Starting car.
My dad has an 89 formula 350 that has 700 miles since 1992. It only has 37000 miles on it. The problem with it is it wont run on its own. I just changed the fuel pump and still wont run but you can hear the pump come on now. Also the fans come on when you turn the key to on. When you attempt to crank it the temp gauge shoots over past 260 degrees. It will run on starting spray (I know your not supposed to use it). Has anyone had this problem before? Could it just be a bad temp sensor? The car has sat some time and there has been rats chewing on wires but not completely through them. Anyone have any ideas? I dont want to take it to the dealer. Thanks.
