Wiring Harness Replacement
Wiring Harness Replacement
Got a 86 IROC that has been chewed on by mice. The wires are patched together such that it runs but since I got it stripped I was thinking about a full replacement of the harness. Are they available in the aftermarket for a resonable price? I'm talking the entire harness from front to back. What would one expect to pay for that kind of harness?
well im just finishing up my harness's actually. First of all I bought both of them from Painless wiring. I had to get 2 different ones. One for the engine to make it run from the computer to all the sensors. The second one is the fuse block that has all the wires for the lights, dash break lights and so on. Its actually been pretty easy to do. The only hard parts were removing my old harness from under my dash
then routing the wires. I think I payed right around $300 for each. I have TPI so I dunno how it would be for you. But I know from summit it was $323 for the engine harness and $299 for the 18 circuit harness.

Im getting mine disabled in the chip so.

hey do u wanna sell your underdash wiring. As long as you didnt rip everything out. i need the inside of the bulkhead connector and to where ever those wires go.
Also try www.hawksthirdgenparts.com he had the original replacement I needed. Don't know about a price though. Oh, and you'll have to email him about it too. It's not on the list of stuff he has.
