i have a 95 trans am i want to upgrade my cd player to the monsoon system where does the amp mount and has any one wired it up themselves thanks

 

unless i misunderstood your question, you can mount the amp anywhere you please for example: the dash, the hump in the trunk, the headliner, in the back seats, on the back glass, under the car.....

i'm sorry, i know i'm a smart @$$ I just can't help it
it really is up to you though and wiring it is easy.
hot, ground, remote, and your rca cables.... just run them along the molding on the sides, or under the carpet, or if your lazy like me, just run them and dare anyone who gets in the back of the car to pull on one of them....

monsoon system sounds good for a factory setup, but you can do better with aftermarket equipment. if you've got the steering wheel radio controls, the grandprix club has an interface to use the factory radio controls with an aftermarket headunit.
