also i noticed that when i turn my a/c on that the drivers fan does not come on, would this have to do about my a/c needing a charge??

Passengers side fan is run by a temp sensor between the # 6 and 8 cylinders. There may also be a relay on the drivers side firewall. Mine was the temp sensor.

Yes, if your A/C needs to be charged, the high pressure switch won't trip activating the driver's side fan.

Good Luck!
