ATTN: Tim Burgess - Project Car
Tim,
I think the Electronics Board needs a project car. I nominate Willie's IROC since he has either had or will experience more electrical problems than any other thirdgen short of one that's been submerged in a body of saltwater for years. Every month Willie could post a really bizarre problem he's experienced and solved with his skills and some help from his friends. What do you think?

Mark,
Haha. You're in the wrong profession; you should be a comedian. I haven't had any bizarre problems in three weeks, albeit my car was down the first two weeks. And I haven't had any problems since Tim showed me the proper way to solder and I started doing it his way.

Oh, hi Willie. What are you doing over here? One whole week w/o a problem... that's great! Seriously, you have some excellent trouble shooting experience and solved some mysterious problems. You ought to post some of them.

Mark,
You're not kidding, I've had some very unusual problems. Let's see.....
Do you recall the intermittent (aren't they always?) Code 33? The problem was a faulty Park/Neutral switch. Who would have figured? This one took me months to get.
And how about the SIX fuel pumps that gave out, one after another? Remember? I became an expert at pulling the tank. Again, who would have figured a restriction in my fuel pump sending unit....
Let's see..... can you think of any others that I've had recently? Tim's camping this weekend so we probably won't hear from him anytime soon.

Yes, Willie, you have had some (many) stumpers! But, you've nailed them all! If you kept a diary of the problems, you could post the "top 10 bizarros".......I had a great time camping - I picked my grandfather up in AZ City - I took it up over 100 at one point in Salt River Canyon & asked him if it felt like 100 - he said yup....one of the motor homes in the caravan had a problem with the retractable steps, so, of course, my dad & I could not resist a "project" - we tore it apart & fixed it up at the lake - man, I wish our F bodies had as much clearance as a motor home chassis!
