Coolant Temp Guage Flipping out help please????
my coolant temp guage is flipping out is the guage just messed up or could the coolant temp sensor have something to do wiht this? anyone ever see something like this?help please

the guage is pegging constantly moving back and forth from the left to the right it will do it every few seconds but it seems to give a normal temp reading when its not flipping out

Transmission: 4L60E
Look for the temp guage sender. On V-8's it is on the driver side block. Make sure the wire(single wire) is not burnt as it is near the exxhaust manifold.
