4th gen power seats installed...no pwr
Well, I've finally put 4th gen seats in my project Z. Now the question is where's the best place to wire in power for my drivers seat. I don't have the harness for the seats. Thanks for any help people. 8)

I just spliced into a wire coming from the fuse panel (I think I spliced into the one that runs the power windows and stuff) and ran a power wire through the loom that is under the carpet next to the sill plate. I ran a ground wire to a screw somewhere (sorry, forgot exactly where). Sorry, that probably didnt help you much, but the point is that all you have to do is provide power to one wire (red one), and ground the other (orange, I think).

Connect the seat motor power wire (probably orange) to the 30 ampere PWR ACC circuit breaker, which also powers the rear hatch defogger, and the door locks, if you have them. It is one of two breakers - the other is for power windows, if you have those as well. Connect the seat motor ground wire (probably balck) to chassis ground.
