Defoster repair question

Does anyone know the best way to re-attach this to my defroster grid?

Go to your local car shop (Pep Boys, Checkers, etc...) they have kits for stuff like that on a smaller scale, maybe two kits will patch that up.

Those fix-it kits are basically metal-impregnated paint that conducts electricity...you use it to replace sections of the defroster grid that have been scratched away.

If you happen to have no-deductible glass insurance coverage in your state...well, just throw a rock through it one night.

I think what you need is some kind of glue that will conduct electricity. If you like to experiment, maybe get some metal "sawdust" leftover from a machine shop, and mix a lot of it into some five minute epoxy. Then use the epoxy to re-attach that piece, and see how it works.
