crackling noise comming from the cooling fan relay??

crackling noise comming from the cooling fan relay??
for about the past month i've heard a crackling noise comming from my fan relay while the car is on. so the other day, i'm driving and notice my car overheating badly, and realize my fan isn't on. i put a new fan relay in and it worked again, but even the new one makes this noise. what could it be? it sounds like it's sparking in there or something.

Kinda sounds like a bad connection to me. But what do I know. I currently have a post on this board about my cooling fan also, but no response from anyone yet. Hope you have better luck with yours than I'm having with mine.

Freshly rebuilt 19831/2 or 3/4 Camaro Z28 305 H.O. 3:73 Gears, BW T-5, Duel Snorkle, Rhino Clutch, 2040 Compu-cam, LS1 valve springs, porting, PST front end kit, K&N Filter and runs great but ain't streetable yet!!....Future Mods: Not yet decided if I'll keep it!
