i got a code 54 from my car and i replaced the ECM and fuel pump relay and the fuel pump is only about a month old. my mechanic is convinced however that the reason the car won't start is becuase of the super chip that is in the ECM. i can't take the car to him until monday morning but it just doesn't make that much sense to me, im thinking its a wiring problem with the fuel pump getting low voltage- but that stems from the ECM so could it be because of the chip? or should i trace the wires back to find where the problem is?
