switch rating???

Going to install a brake light switch to cut off the brake lights with a switch. Its a normally open, momentary, pushbutton switch. Weve already had the conversation about how to do this, however im just wondering if a switch rated at 6A @ 125vac will be sufficient. This is the biggest momentary normally open i could find. What do you guys think??

The rating should be enough. If you have a normally open switch, you are gonna have to use a relay with it. Breaking off the ground wire would be the easiest and safest way.
