TPS setup help please

Can anyone help with setting up the TPS on a 83 TBI Z28?? I have just rebuilt the long block (suprisingly not much wear on anything after 106K miles), and coupled everything back up. TPS is the only thing left to set and I have an something about feeler guage under butterfly and altering TPS until voltage setting at idle correct?? Is this correct and if so, what gap under the butterfly and what voltage??? If not correct then can someone point me in the right direction

Cheers
Carl

There is a tech article on this about using a ohm meter I believe. I used a digital ohm meter and had to looser some screws on the tps and move it until it got into specs then I tightened them up. I'd check it out see if thats what ur talking about. Heres the link https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/tpimod2.shtml The first part shows on how to set the idle but under neath it shows
the tps. I used that method on TPI and it worked great hopefully it'll work for you.
