I have a 88 305 tpi with a hypertech chip and 160 stat.What is the highest base timing that can be run??

 

Every engine is different and ideally you should advance it using a scan tool until the point right before you start to get any readings from your knock sensor. Those LB9's are detination prone as it is so without a scan tool I would not go very far.
