Electronic Speedo Question

Can an electric driven speedo be wired to work without the computer? I have done away with my '90 computer and it appears that it controlled the speedometer. I still have the two output wires from the trans but need to know where they need to feed to in order to get the speedometer to have a signal. Thanks, Rob.

That looks like it should work, only problem is I can't find the speed buffer box. I have a black box "piggybacked" to the ECM, but it looks nothing like that. It is a balck shell containing a printed circuit board that is loose (just not attatched to the box) and has one plug into it. The plug slides directly onto the board and makes contact on the printed circuits. I was thinking this was cruise controll module but I could easily be wrong. This car originally came with the electronic dash, I just need to get it working again. The computer was replaced with an '89 model to run a MAF TPI system. Thanks for the help, Rob.

I have what you need and will be willing to sell (I converted my '87 carb to '92 TPI, so I don't need it any more)
