The driver side head light on my 92 firebird makes a continuious clicking sound for about 25seconds after it goes down or up. I poped the hood to watch the trun motor and it just spins insted of stoping like the other one. Any I deas? thanks!

 

sounds like maybe the plastic gear inside it worn out. If it is, eventually it wont be able to lift the headlight, because it will be sliping too much. New ones are like $180 to have put in, but if you look around, maybe on here or yahoo or ebay, someone sells a rebuild kit for them. If i remember correctly its only like 10 or 15 dollars.
