EUREKA! Aftermarket Fog Lights
EUREKA! Aftermarket Fog Lights
For anyone out there looking to replace your factory foglights, there is a near factory OE solution w/o the OE $180 each price.
The Blazer 12014 driving lights (got them at Walmart $18) and l figure the others from Blazer, can be "gutted" and fit just right into the factory housing.
l did this to my 87 T/A. l was wondering how to mount the whole Blazer Assy when l realized that l might be able to tranfer the reflector, bulb, wiring, and lens from new to old housing. Even the little hold down pieces on the side match up. (you have to use the old torx screws cause the screws w/ the blazer are too big). Put in the reflector, bulb, spliced the wiring into stock harness, put in lens and holders, and there it was. Looked just like stock from the front, and l didnt have to drill any holes. Also, if the aiming on the old ones was right, then there is no aiming needed either.
This was tested on an 85 T/A and my 87 T/A.
