Hmm..strange

My oil gauge for some reason flips all around when i just sit and let it idle - when driving it behaves normally, but like i said, when idling, it goes all over the place for no obvious reasons..

Gas gauge: never works! one minute it will say it's full, then it's 1/4, then 3/4, then 1/2, and anywhere in between.. I figure it has one of those floaters in the tank that would cause it to change on unlevel ground, but it does this even on flat ground! Also, what about getting one of the new-style ones that don't change when you are on unlevel ground? Has anyone installed one of these?

I would start by checking the connection to the oil pressure sender, it sounds like you have a loose connection. if that connection is good check the chassis ground ( from the passenger head to the firewall. as for the fuel gauge, does it act funny when just sitting still or does it only do it when moving. my gauge acts really wierd when moving and the gas is sloshing around in the tank.
