wtf is this...?

hello,
i was removing the plenum from the intake/runners the other day and i snapped off a plastic piece of some relay or sender that was coming out of the bottom of the plenum. it is located toward the driver's side between the two sets of runners. it has a two-prong connection in which a plug goes into and it screws into the bottom of the plenum. i need to replace it but i don't know what it is....anybody help?

That should be the Intake Air Temp. sensor.

Well, for TPIs it's actually the "Manifold Air Temperature Sensor".. Same difference, but it may mean the difference between getting the right part or not at the parts store.

The IAT sensors are found on TBIs and V6 MPFIs (on the airboxes).
