Electrical fan will not shut off!

Electrical fan will not shut off!
Subject says it all. I just replaced the engine coolant temp sensor last night. Drove to work this morning, car never reached above 170 deg, and the fan is still running. I double checked all the connections, their still together. Any suggestions. It has a bone stock 305 TBI.
