Car Wont Start

Well my car has been being kind of a pain for the last 2-3 weeks when it comes to starting. But know its doesnt start at all until after about 15 mins of trying.at first when i turned the key something would make a spinning sound and nothing would happen. Then i would do it again and it would start right up. Well over the last 2 weeks its decided it wont start until i do this about 20 times. But now instead of doing nothing, the engine will seem like its about to start and then die out again. Once i get it running it runs fine.

I have basically all stock ignition. New plugs and wires.

We recently had bout 2 feet of snow not to long ago. perhaps that screwed up the starter or something?.

I dont know much about the ignition system so im sorry if i sound kind of dumb.

Ive heard maybe its the selinoid or maybe the whole starter in general. if this is the case what would be a good upgrade to replace these with. Or watever the part maybe.

Its a 91 3.1 RS

Thanks

Why mess with a soilnoid when you can get a rebuilt lifetime guarantee starter from Autozone for around $30.

It's definetly the starter. The bendix on the end of the starter is NG. You used to be able to just buy the bendix, put in new brushes and you were good to go. Now just buy a starter, install it and everything will be OK.
