I was wondering if it is possible to swap the entire dash setup, along with the console, and gauges, from a 1997 Firehawk to my 1983 Trans am. They both have 5.7 liter V8's. My engine is a 350 four bolt main. Will the gauges work? I can purchase the whole setup for $500...is this a bad price? How much would it cost to put in my car? Would it work in my car? I have seen it done, but in a newer camaro. Would it work in a 1983 TA? Would the gauges work? Would it be too hard to do myself? I am going to change my whole interior, so i figured I would customize it a little. Please comment, send me pics, or give me any info and input. Thanks.
