Not starting, electrical help needed...

I had to jump it last night, and it started up, ran it for a while, then turned it off and started it again just to make sure it was alright, kept it running for a bit, but then today, once again, the voltmeter is bottomed out. Can anybody possibly tell me what's causing this? No accessories were on, I checked all my wiring for extras (fan switch, amp, disc changer, etc) and nothing's grounding out. This is easily the most frustrating problem I've ever had. HELP!

pull gound cable off your battery.

run test light between negative battery post and the end of your ground cable.

make sure everything electrical on your car is OFF.. don't forget interior lights & hood light.

If the test light comes on then you likely have a short-to-ground and must find it.

If the test light does nothing then there is NO short at all. Your battery is likely bad.

good luck
