OT, but anybody know how to program a Chrysler remote?

I bought my wife a 94 Chrysler New Yorker, and it only came with one keyless entry remote. I bought one at the local chrysler dealer ($61 - ouch!), only to have them tell me that there is an additional $40 charge to
program it...

Anybody know what it takes to program the remote so that it works on a particular car?
