Killed Starter in Car Wash

I pulled my car real slow into the car wash thinking to clean off the crud underneath my car. The mist must have got into the starter and shorted it out. I clicked, then started. I drove it home, and started it again. When I tried to start it in the morning, it was dead. It was about 28 degrees during this fiasco. Just a warning to be careful.

If you killed your starter in the car wash it was probably on its way out anyway.

It's more important to protect the TPS, Alternator, and the distributer.

I used to take my car to the car wash, shut it off, pop the hood, and go to town with the sprayer.. never had any problems.. your starter gets wet when it rains too! it was probably just co-ink-y-dink
