SES light and brake dummy light holders/socket missing...

SES light and brake dummy light holders/socket missing...
On my 83 trans am, the bulb socket holders for the check engine light and brake light are missing....How do I put a new socket in? I don't see any place where I could put a new socket in, just a hole.
