Turn Signals from He!!

Ok, on my 84 Berlinetta, the turn signal went out a couple of months ago. Well, I took off the pod that it is mounted on, and it is all computer chip crap. So, I got the wires that went to the signal and hooked them up to a switch on the side of the pod for the signals. Now, my turn signals will not come on when my lights are on. Does anyone know what might be going on?

are you saying you took the guage cluster out? If so are you saying the light went out on the dash? if so try replacing the bulb and clean the copper contacts with a pencil eraser. And were you cut the wires is why you lights don't work anymore.

The thing is, it i a Berlinetta, so there is no column turnsignal switch. All the lights are where the light switch is on a regular Camaro, but they are buttons instead of a pull out thing, and the trunsignal is also there, and it is just a little switch that you move up and down. Well, the witch went out, and when I took off the pod to see how to fix it, it was just a bunch of computer chip stuff. I found which wires go to the signal switch, and hot wired them to another switch. thi works fin, except when the lights are on.

I also have the same problem with my 84 Berli. By chance does anyone know of an OEM parts manufacturer, or even an aftermarket parts company that makes new switches for these rare beauty's. Or if there is a way of fixing this without a degree in computer science ?
