I am putting a v8 in my v6 bird, i wish that i could use the v6 tach because it goes to 8grand, but i know i cant because of the signals between the v6 adn v8 are different. i found a v8 tach in the salvage yard, how hard it is to swap the v8 tach in? do i have to change any wiring, or does it just "bolt in?" also, how in the heck do i get the tach out of the car? all the cover plates are off, i can see 2 small screws in the face plate, is there bolts somewhere, or does it just pop out? i didnt try to hard to get it out, i was afraid i would break it. thanks for any help, sorry this was so long.
