I am trying to replace my remote dimmer switch, but don't know where to find it. I removed the lower dash (just above where your feet go). I saw the fuse box, adl terminal, and steering coloumb, but no remote dimmer. I have seen the pictures of what this piece looks like, but don't know where to look for it. Should I remove more of the dash? Please clue me in.

you have to dive head first into the depths of your dashboard to reach it. and autozone sells a new one for like 20 bucks

 

OOPS, nevermind

 

I was really hoping for an easy way to get to the part. I already know that I can "dive into the depths of my dash". That's painfully(and I mean that) obvious. How about some constructive and knowledgeable advice on how to get that piece out.
