i just got an MSD coil and im told it wont fit in the stock position, so where can i mount it??? and also im getting an MSG ingniton amplifier soon so i was wondering a good place bolt it into the engine comp. also how hard is it too hook these things up?? Thanks -Don

 

If you got the correct coil, all you have to do is remove the rivets holding the factory coil in the bracket, bolt in the MSD coil, and reinstall it on the manifold.

As far as the box, here's where I put mine. I made a bracket out of 1/8" sheet aluminum. MSD makes a harness that is pretty much a pull and plug in thing, costs about $20 I think, well worth it. Call 'em and tell them what you have.

Thanks for the reply, so the coil bolts into where the stock coil goes kewl, as for the MSD amp ive seen people who have bolted it to the firewall, im also have a strut tower brace i will be putting on, do you think that may interfere with the MSD box, if i would put it in the same place you put yours, looks like it could be close
