Well, I've been putting off completing the installation of my combination Alarm/Keyless Entry/Remote Trunk/Remote start system for a while because of engine troubles, but since my interior is all over the place, I'd really like to finish up and move on. I so far have the doors and trunk properly wired, and the alarm works, but doesn't know to turn off once the ignition key is turned (I know, this SHOULD be easy!). And last, but not least, I have never gotten the remote start figured out. I measured the resistance on the VATS system ignition key and was thinking that I'd just bypass that, even though my system has a wire for "grounding the factory security" or something like that. In short, what I really need to figure out is what each of the wires running down the steering column do, there are two 10 wire harnesses some with the same color wires. A Tech article, or simple chart on this subject would be tremendously helpful to myself and others trying to do install any one of these systems (remote start/keyless/alarm). Anyway, if anyone could just fill in the blanks here, I would appreciate it (or at least describe what wires apply to remote starting). Thanks!

Harness #1: (looking into connector left to right)
White
Grey
Dark Green
Purple
Pink
(2 banks of 5 conductors in each connector- there is a space in the center to make it idiot proof)
Black
Blue
Grey
Pink
Empty socket
(I think there's acutally 2 empty sockets at the end- guess that'd make it an 11 socket connector)

Connector #2:
White
Dark Green
Yellow
Purple
Brown
Dark Blue
Light Blue
Black
Green/White
Tan/White

That's it. I did some tests and have determined what some do, but rather than post an incomplete or incorrect list, I'd rather someone who really knows take a minute to help out! Thanks in advance for any help!
