digital dash
Is the wiring harness the same for cars with digital dashes as cars with gages? I have a digital dash and want to put in the regular dash and was wondering if it was an easy swap or not? Does anyone know or have diagrams, please?

to my knowledge there is no digital dash out there for any third gen firebirds that you can just plug and go. if it is a firebird then you will definately need to do some hard wiring to the sending units, i do know for camaros summit sells a digital dash that to the best of my knowledge is a plug and go system, i could be wrong but from what i understand its a direct replacement of the oem gauge cluster

so in conclusion, if you have a firebird, you might be getting into a lot of electrical work, if you have a camaro then you might get lucky enough to where you can just pop out the digital and plug in the oem cluster

The plug in connectors on the digital clusters are different from those used in the analog clusters. You would have to change the single multi-row pin plug on your car to a pair of PCB mount plugs to use an analog cluster. The sending units should not have to be changed, as long as the analog cluster has gauges for oil pres, coolant temp, and voltage.
