Fog Lamp switch

I have a 90' Firebird with factory fog lamps the bulbs are good but when you push the switch they go on but when you release the switch they go out. I guess I need new switch. Has anyone ever had this happen, if so where did you find a new one. Pontiac wants $65 for a new switch. Also my switch for the rear hatch does not work and suggestions? Thanks

JD,

The fog lamps are operated by a relay. The switch only controls the relay. The relay is located under the hood, at the extreme left side of the firewall:

The rear hatch is a different system, and the release is directly controlled by the switch. The two circuits have different power sources from the fuse panel, so there is likely no correlation.
