w/ mods done to my car will i need to reprogam my computer.

Or will i need a chip. I plan on getting a procharger later on not now. But for now (see sig. for mods)do i need to do anything to the computer(i hope not)since i changed cam and everything else.

Mods:340,edelbrock victor jr. intake, 650 4 barrel holley, heddman headers,40 series dual flowmasters, cold air intake,4:10 gears, just got a new paint job and cragar rims with 315 tires in the back.
:Yeah its not a chevy but damn how many 71' dusters have u seen in the streets.

For now, you may consider an aftermarket PROM to recurve the spark timing & turn the cooling fan on a bit earlier, if you installed a lower temperature thermostat than the stock 195 F thermostat. Also, if your fuel pressure regulator in not adjustibe, get one & experiment with various fuel pressures from 46 to 54 psig, or so; 50 would be a good starting point. When you install a super charger, you will need a custom PROM for that specific application - more fuel & less timing - especially if your TPI setup is speed density (no mass air flow sensor). With speed density, it is more critical to have the PROM calibrations matched to your specific setup, since the ECM has no idea of the actual air flow through the motor. TPIS would be a good choice for a PROM.

what prom from from TPIS should i get i know there are certain levels,which one do u suggest. I know there expensive. I have the mass air flow system.

I would suggest going to Ed Wright at www.fastchip.com Many people here have used his chips and highly recommend him. Plus his custom chips are only $350 compared to higher prices from other people.
