I could ues some fresh input here, I converted my 73z28 to fuel injection, no problem, right. I get it running everything seems ok, well i'm driving out of the parking lot and it starts to miss real bad and dies. I start it back up it's ideling real rough and it dies again and will not start.

1) it has no codes

2) there is deffinitaly no spark.

Here is what I have done so far.

a) I replaced the pick up coil, the ignition module, coil, ecm, memcal and e-prom. I have tested for shorts and power, it's all the same as it is in my 87 iroc, I used it to compare.

b) I have 12v at the module.

I have a crane HI-6 ignition and it need to see a trigger siginal from the module to run and it's not getting it or it's not seeing it, I don't know. I think the ignition has gone bad It was running for about a week befor it died.

dose anyone have a experiance with crane, any help will be great.

88TPI- thanks for the reply, I have the maunel and I have checked and rechecked the hook up, I belive it's right. It was runnung good for a few days, it just died on me and refused to start. That makes me think it was hooked up right.

The crane ignition has that little led, that will flash if there is a problem mine is in the right state, no problems( not flashing). It's supposed to blink rapidly when the motor is cranking but mine dosen't . the book says that mean it's not seeing a trigger signal. I have the right voltage at the module and 12v ignition voltage, a good coil, pick up coil(875ohm's), new cap, wires, plugs, I am at a loss here.

Can anyone tell me what the trigger siginal(EST) looks like, what wire it'as supposed to come from, eather the crane itn't seeing it or it failed. thanks for you help.

Well problem solved, It turns out the crane ignition failed, but at least I have all new ignition parts now. It must hava been made on a Friday, thanks to all the replyed.
