If the brake lights are not working, the problem may be the stop / hazzard fuse. If the brake lights are working, the problem may be the hazzard flasher - it is located in the "convenience center", along with the audio indicator & horn relay, under the driver's side dash, or the hazzard switch in the column.

Yes, the hazard flasher and the hazard switch are the only 2 components in the hazard circuit after the fuse.
