I would also like that info.
My car is TBI so the single fan is controled by it's own temp sensor/switch in the passengers side head. Right now I have the stock fan switch in the head and it isn't hooked up because I have a 160 thermo on the engine. I'm still using the stock relay on the drivers side firewall. The fan comes on with ignition and I don't like that. I'm going to put a 180 thermo in when I reprogram my EPROM and get/build a fan switch.
Tim, do you have any schimatics for making an adjustable temp fan on switch?

ok lets see, 87, that has only one electric fan right? my 86 only has one and i have a switch like u r talking about. i wired it into the airconditioning pressure switch on the passenger front wheelwell. when the AC comes on the fan comes on too. so when i flip my switch, it connects the pressure switch and my fan comes on. it works great because when i turn off my ignition off it turns off too so i don't run my battery dead. i would give you more exact instructions as to how i did this but my car is at home and i am at school.
