Blowing Fuses for taillights

My taillight fuse keeps blowing in my 87 T/A, it has a digital dash, theres nothin I can do to make it blow so the mechanic couldnt find anything wrong, it blows whenever it wants, somtimes right away, somtimes it'll go a week, help me, i'm sick of being on the highway and it blows. thanks

Intermittent electrical problems are the worst. You could try to remove the tail lamp housings and check the wiring harness for grounding where it routes through openings in the body, screws penetrating the insulation, or lamp sockets that are melted, corroded, or distorted. Swap bulbs if the filaments look like they are hanging limp or the glass is blackened.

You could also chase the wiring harness through the body and look for damage aound corners, bends, splices, and under the carpets.
