VAT's for me?

OK simple question. Was the VAT's on 88 Camaro's? I know it was on 88 Pontiac's, but I think it was 89 for the chevy Camaro. I have a ecm and prom from an 88 5.7 auto car with a 3.27 rear. I am converting to the 86-89 165 ECM from the 85 TPI, and want to know if this chip will run as is, for starting and moving while I get into burning my own prom's.

89 was the first year for the Camaro.

Omar, that's what I was thinking. I just wanted to make sure that some of them did not have it in 88, since thats the chip I will start using to get it running after the 85 to 86-89 wiring conversion. Having a no start condition after work like this will get you second guessing your work Big thanks!
