wipers and blower motor both kicked out at same time

Engine: 3.0L Diesel
Transmission: 8sp
wipers and blower motor both kicked out at same time
like it says the wipers decided not to work one day and the blower wont come on either. nither one works at all.
I have checked all fuses under the dash but I dont know what it could be.
the only reason I am posting such a vague question is that this problem sounds like it has an obvious solution that I am missing or someone might have had this happen to them.
