HELP! Headlight switch problem and it's getting dark...
I had to remove my headlight **** to get the dash bezel off. I pushed the release on the bottom of the switch and pulled the **** out, no problem. Now I can't get the **** to catch when trying to put it back in. Is there some kind of trick to this? Is the switch broken? The **** appears to slide all the way in, but it isn't catching inside, so it pulls right back out without turning the lights on.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated! I only have about an hour of daylight left and I don't want to be stuck home all night!

No trick that I am aware of. The shaft is triangular shaped. Try turning it to the next flat and installing it again. Lon
Alright, just finished putting new switch in. $16 at local parts store, no big deal. Had me worried for a minute though when I called Chevy dealer this morning and they told me it's discontinued. They said to try a regular store, I had no idea they stocked that type of thing.
