I had the same problem at one point. It might be your "pass key module" located on passenger side inside dash. It cost me about 300 hundred dollars to get fixed but, in the newer cars like myn (91 bird) you cant bypass the cars modules or like you said it wont pump gas or anything. Hopefully this is not what is wrong but it sounds to me like it is this problem.
