I just swapped in a set of eletronic gages into my 82 trans am becouse i did a t56 conversion and wanted an electronic speedo, the only problem is my tach dosnt work, it worked in the car i pulled it out of, the only thing i could think of is that will it not work with an after market ignition, im running the crane cams hi 6 box and it worked fine with the stock 82 tach, the tach dosnt even work when i plug it into the tach output of the dist. the only thing the tach will do is give me a quick pulse when i start the car other then that it dosent move, but everything else is working fine, any one have a thought?
