i'm just wondering what it would take to swap a digital dash from a berlinetta into my sc. i found one at the junkyard last week that was complete and it got me thinking.

it takes the basically everything from the firewall forward. dash, harness, light module, also the heater/ac box has different connections. im sure im forgetting something but i ripped all of this out when i swapped from a berlinetta dash to an iroc dash. its a lot of hassle. also if anything goes wron with the dash, good luck finding parts for it. im not trying to discourage you, if ya wanna do it more pwer to ya.

i got an 84 camaro, shes got a 89 mustang. which do i have to work on more?

 

Dont' forget the floor console, steering column, radio & wiper motor. The rear light harness and and the wiper wiring will also need to be re-wired in as the harnesses are not the same.

It is possible - I swapped an 86 IROC dash into an 85 Berlinetta last year - It took some time - but everything worked !
