Can someone help me? The driver side window in my 91 RS is screwed. I can roll it up or down only about 3 or 4 inches then it will stop moving. Then i have to let it 'rest' or cooldown for about 5 minutes before trying to move it again. I really need to get this fixed.

 

easiest way to fix it is to replace the window motor... have someone else do it, if you need to, or there's a tech article on this board for it...

Do a search for "window motor" or "window" under this forum. Your problem has been covered extensively by many, many posts.

The tech article should cover anything left out by those posts.

 

From experience, I can honestly say, window motor. I prefer doing in in pairs when they're both old, but that can be expensive and annoying. You obviously know you have power...
