My 86 T/A had the factory subwoofer deal in it--I have the car completely gutted. I was wondering if anyone knew where the amps and other related stereo stuff was in the car? i just want to rip it all out! I found a weird looking metal colored box under the dash on the pass side, had fins on it like a heat sink--could that be it? also what did the factory sub woofer system consist of? I know about the sliding thing and the rear speakers but that's it. Thanks!!

Tony, that's prolly the amp, sorry but I keep forgetting its position every time someone tells it to me

The only other parts of it are the 4x6/4"sub enclosures where the 6x9s should be..

PS - doing anything w/ you factory switch? I'm lookin' for one

Right now for me that's the best part of the system! I ripped everything out of it but I'm trying to figure out what to do w/it.
