wipers-switch or delay module

My wipers stopped dead. I know the motor works, tested. Now how can I test to see what it the broken section. Is it the circuit board under the hood or the switch in the Steering column. Thanks for any help anyone.

In my 1991 Camaro, the wiper delay circuitry is inside the motor assembly. The lever switches voltage to two points on the motor for low and high speed, as well as providing a variable voltage (reduced from 12 volts via a potentiometer) at the lever by rotating it.

The wiring assignment (according to the schematic for a 1991) is as follows:

PINK = reduced voltage from a potentiometer to provide a variable delay. +12 is switched here for the "washer switch" function also.

DARK GREEN = +12 with the wiper switch "off", "low" or "high" (I presume to "park" the wipers when turned "off").

GREY = +12 for the washer switch, "high", "low" or "mist".

PURPLE = +12 for "high".

The YELLOW wire at the motor is a jumper connecting "A" on C1 to "B" on C2, and is the motor positive (at "B" on C2). BLACK ("C" on C2) is ground.
