well a buddy of mine just bought a 92 RS and a 86 IROC parts car came with it for free and I have been pulling parts off of it for myself. (i.e. rear-end w/discs and posi 3.42's, electric fan.......) well it also had the 140speedo but it doesn't reset to zero instead it sits around 35mph. Is there a way to calibrate it back to zero?

completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, Hurst shifter, dakota digital gauge package, procharger supercharger.

 

This may sound crazy but if the parts car was setting for a long time, check for spider webs in the gages, i had a mustang that did that and that's what it was or pull the gage to see if it is sticking on 35.
