bought a 89 rs for cheap missing original key. I need to get a code/resistance chart for the 15 gm pass keys, so I can use cheap resistors to find out what key it takes, ie:
key # 1 is so many ohms
Key # 2 is this many ohms
this chart does exist ...any suggestions...thanks

 

I work at a local gm dealer and the only way I know how is to hook up a special scan tool to read the keys so just go to a gm dealer and if they're nice enough they can read your key for ya

 

thanks for the advice. went to the dealer,measured resistance,then used radio shack resistors to find the right key..all is good.
