Power Window Motors 91-92

Okay, as I was sitting around at my job (discount auto parts) I was playing around with the computer there. I had just bought a 91 power window motor, and it 39.99 + 10.00 core, I had plnanned on buying it, but they don't like us to buy stuff until the end of the night. So, as the night came, I went to look up the part number, and realized I had hit 1992 instead of 1991, thinking nothing of it, assumed they were the same. However, the price was 45.99, with a 10.00 core... not to mention it would have to be ordered. After checking it with the 91, I saw they had different part numbers. I asked a friend if he had ever heard of a difference, and he said something about in 92, they attempted to lighten the doors or something, or close in some space. Could this be the case? If so, what are the differences?

I had both the power window motors go out on my 91 and I went to the bone yard and picked up a set from an 86-87 trans am. Then I called autozone and asked them if they would work. The guy told me the part number was exactly the same. I am having them put on Monday. I would just ask someone at pep boys or at GM if they are the same. Hope it works for you.
